E.g. a bet on a winner of a tournament/league, final placement etc. What exactly you consider a long-term bet is up to you.

Arbitrage is a bet on both sides of an outcome. E. g. we can bet on more than 2.5 goals scored at one sportsbook and less that 3.5 goals scored in a football match at another sportsbook. A surebet is usually also an arbitrage.

Surebet consists of two (or more) bets on both (or all) sides of an outcome that will bring us a sure profit. If we have a 2-way bet, bet on one side with the odds of 2.1 and on the other side with the odds of 2.1 then we are sure to make a 5% net profit regardless of the result. A surebet usually takes part between two different sportsbooks but we can also place a bet on one side with the intention of placing a bet on the other side after a while if we are sure that the odds will change in our favor in the meantime. This sometimes happens with livebetting.
